Harry Reid in hospital

I just heard that the Senate Majority leader was in a 6-car accident on the freeway and has been taken to the hospital. It was bad enough for the city of Las Vegas to block public access to traffic camera feeds, which is apparently a first in Nevada.

I hope he is OK.

Well said; I dislike him and what he stands for, but wouldn't wish a car wreck on him. I am curious if he had any responsibility for the accident, or if he just got caught in a pile-up.

Cheers, John

Wouldn't Hairy Reed be a great porn star name?

It could already be for all I know.

Radio in Las Vegas was reporting it was the Senator's Limo and 6 service vehicles that were in the accident. So I doubt Harry was doing any driving.

Just glad I wasnt driving through that area, so the log jam didn't affect me.

I wonder what their rate of speed and driving style was just prior to the accident or if they were traveling at traffic posted speed just prior to the accident and were just caught up in it. I have seen a few vip suburban trains and was not impressed with the "shove the peasants aside" driving techniques.

Cool Ho Hum!

I don't wish anyone harm in any way but I sure wish he was not the Senator from My state. I don't agree with most of the stuff he shoves down our throats and the things I wish would be passed into law, he vetos . . .

At least he didn't veto the "replica law" when it came about years ago . . . makes my Roadster smog exempt for ever.

Just my 2¢

That would have been tough for him to do considering he's a federal official, not a state one.

Talking True

True but you'd be surprised how much influence he has on what goes on in his home state.

Sen. Marco Rubio's daughter was hospitalized after a minor accident. Now recovered. A lot of politicians and their relatives and staff are going to be doing a lot of driving for the next 9 days. Hopefully there will be no more accidents.
