Toaster oven for powder coating?

I used to have this really nice kitchen oven I used for powder coating. Unfortunately, a lack of room in my garage dictated it had to go. I have a lot of small parts I still need to powder coat. Has anybody ever tried using something like a toaster oven to do nuts, bolts, and whatever else can fit inside?

Sears has them for $20. I wonder if they would be too hot and actually burn the powder coat?

You need a consistent regulated heat even heat. Not sure how even the heat would be. If the heat spikes too high, it can ruin the outcome.

I have never tried it but googling "Toaster oven for powder coating" (sans the quotes) gives lots of hits. This one is very informative and shows good results.

Don't buy a new one, get one from a second hand store. Or you could wait until your wife leaves and use the oven in the kitchen!

LOL...It's easier to ask forgiveness than ask for permission!!
A convection type of oven would be better, but temp regulation is really important.

That plan might not work, when mine left she took the stove with her.

I used a powder coating kit from Eastman with an old toaster oven quite a bit for small parts during my build. It worked fine.
