General Patton - pretty cool surprise
My friend's parents are visiting Europe and found this picture at the National Military Museum in Diekirch, Luxembourg. That's my friend's grandfather standing next to Patton. He was a company commander during the war. It must have been a huge surprise for his mom to walk into a museum and find a picture of her dad!

My friend's dad was a veteran of the Vietnam war and still plays an active role at military funerals, playing taps at the internment.

my old friends father was a staff sargent and faught under Patton he was with the Red Diamonds, found out later he recieved a silver, 2 bronze stars, 2 purple hearts and to think Patton probably gave him those medals.

to think if a battle was done today, with Patton and Chesty Puller the dream machine of military leaders.
