Leaves are changing up in the Boonies.

Took these out in front of my Condo Garage yesterday....Fall is in the air.

Not the best pictures of foliage I have ever taken but the weather has basically sucked for the past two weeks up here. Rain/fog/mist almost every day. I feel bad for all the people coming up leaf peeping. Without the sun the foliage is just not popping with normal color you get on a sunny day.

Nice shots. There are many falling here....thankfully got the pool closed this year early enough. Nothing more frustrating than a pool full of leaves. (an exaggeration but it is a major frustration)

That (leaves changing) and good pizza are the only 2 things I really miss from the Northeast.

Cheers.

We're way ahead of you guys. The fall colors peaked here a couple of weeks ago. The leaves are almost all down now. The weather changed early and quickly this year. We had our first decent frost last night. I saw some snow in the air yesterday at the cottage. The weather radar showed pretty good snow north of Superior & in Michigan's western upper peninsula. That's a big change from same time last year when we were still golfing.

I wonder if we will all pay for last year with more snow this year. We hardly had any snow up here. But with the wet autumn we sre having now, that might just spell trouble....

I'm in N.E. Ohio (Westlake--a Greater-Cleveland, Ohio city/suburb) and the leaves are already starting to fall WITHOUT the beautiful changes of colors this season usually brings to this part of the country.

Our area was in 'drought' conditions until maybe, just three weeks ago. Now, the abundance of rain has totally reversed that along with falling temps. ...I don't think the trees know what to do!! --not enough water for months, and now, too much water.

As for me, I'm not looking forward to a nasty winter, which is long over due for my area!

BTW, Cobra Cory, Very NICE Pictures of your car in the Fall backdrop!!

Blessings,

Lisa

PS: for some of us with dogs, Why do they shed their undercoat before it gets cold?? LOL!!!
