New panel saw

I've been shopping for a new panel saw for a few years, Finally decided on this one. It's 6 years old, got it for about half retail. It's amazing how nice it cuts! 7hp motor, The saw drives itself and the digital stops are heaven sent. It's Swiss, right up there with German tools. The install guy said he installed one for a Nascar team, what they use it for????

Panel Saw

We use those in the cabinet industry. If you can afford a CNC router you will never use one again.

I've had a CNC for over 15 years. This compliments it. One can't replace the other. The blade is 300mm. We cut everything: Plastics, plywood, aluminum, and tons of foam core, ultra, and gator. It can cut 3" thick so we can cut 5-6 boards at a time. Pretty helpful when you have to cut hundreds. It's precise to .005. The old Safety Speed Saw (for sale)was on the money or off by.5 depending on the operators ability. I wasn't sure it would be worth the money, but after the first day I'm pretty sure it will pay for itself in the first year in mistakes alone. The quality and features are pretty amazing. It's also reassuring that the importer is about 20 minutes away. I've tasted the sweet nectar of quality, I don't think I'll ever step into a Harbor Freight again!
