We rented an almost brand new Edge Limited during a vacation earlier this year. Put about 1000 miles on it over a week. Nice car. No complaints. Got decent mileage. The instrument cluster is kind of cool with multiple configurations. My only gripe was the electronic turn signal stalk. It doesn't click on with a mechanical click like most cars. I was still struggling with it a little at the end of the week, but a little more time I'd have gotten comfortable with it. We need a bigger vehicle for towing, so it's not something I would consider buying. At least not right now.
A good friend of mine leased one and liked it so well that he bought it at the end of the lease. It's his daily driver and he has not had any issue that I know of (three years now).
Wife had a 2006, loved it. We have a 2011 for a company car, all the bells and whistles. The vehicle is great, just so damn much to learn to even operate the radio, it can be a little intimidating. The back-up camera is cool.

My wife has a 2012 white Edge Sport with 10,000 miles on it and she loves it. She gets nice comments wherever she goes. My biggest complaint is the tilt wheel column. I'm 6' tall and I'm always hitting my knee On the lever that raises and lowers the column. The climate controls are also a Pain. You can change climate by voice activation but otherwise you have to do it by touch which requires you to take your eyes off the road and find the specific spot on the dash to touch.
I've got an '11 Limited. Had it a year and a half, 50,000 miles and it's still like new. I Like it a lot. They had some issues with the myford touch at first, but the last major update this spring took care of it.
