May not be jobless soon!!!

I have an interview with an employer I worked for 12 years ago on Monday.
He called me, heard I was out of work. How that news traveled there I have no idea.
Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Thanks guys. I was so stunned I could barely talk to him!
Even if I felt they didn't deserve it, I've always tried to leave on as good a terms as possible with every employer. Guess that might be paying off.
My last employer going out of business made the tv news, but I would have never guessed he would have known I worked there.
Tomorrow can't get here soon enough!

Good luck.
After I left my old job for one that wasn't all it was presented to be, I called my old manager about one of our vendors that was looking for a calibration technician. He asked if I was interested in coming back to them and figured it was as good as anything else I could find so I did. Little did I know how good I had it until I was actively looking for a job. That was 9 years ago and still happy where I am. Well as happy as you can be at "work."

I am so relieved this worked out.
Thanks for all the positive thoughts and prayers you guys.

Congrats! There's a good lesson in there somewhere about not burning a bridge. Nice job coming full circle and landing on your feet -- happy for you!

Cheers, John
