2014 Dodge Barracuda?

No more Plymouth but the Challenger SRT8 is going to get replaced by a Barracuda.

SRT Barracuda to replace Dodge Challenger SRT8 in 2014? - DodgeForum.com

Now if they will only make a convertible.....

Yeah. They are just showing that the challenger is gonna be gone.

They haven't set the look of the 'Cuda yet.

Hopefully they don't ruin it like they did with the newest Charger.

My big wig Dodge buddy just got back from a Vegas unveiling, he said over 60 cars...

Will see what I can get out of him tonight.

I hoping for a domestic AWD turbo, something like a WRX

I've been hearing that dodge will finally boost the 3rd gen Hemi but I haven't heard whether it's a turbo or twinscrew. That would finally put them in the 500's or beyond like Ford and GM already have. http://www.allpar.com/cars/concepts/firepower.html

The concept above is what it should be put in, check it out.

Garage
I don't get it, why such a short run on the Challenger?

Will the 'Cuda just be a re-badge of the Challenger?

When are they bringing back the Road Runner and Super Bird

Amen, they ruined the charger and 300.

I get thumbs up just about everyday with my challenger. Its a great commuter car too. I do miss the 300 srt, but the problem was everyone had those 300's and they would buy the base model and put 22" rims on them like they were hot wheels or something...

Cant wait to see what they come up with next in the SRT line up. Might be about time to retire the challenger

What's wrong with them? They're extremely highly rated and I think they're the best looking sedans on the market these days.

They took a muscle car styling and changed it to an import look. I am sure they are highly rated. They make great cars, but the body design was destroyed with the new models. Lets hope they dont do that again with the new lineup.

The charger was inspired by the '99 Charger concept which was ultra bad ass and the '69 Charger according to Ralph Gilles. I think the new Charger R/Ts with the Super Track Pack are just fantastic with the classic wheels and all.

I test drove a Charger SRT and really liked it. It was an "AllBlack" car with the black classic rims. Mean looking. If you can get by the 4 doors it is a nice ride.
I'd love to get a Challenger But I can't afford an SRT8. Maybe an R/T with the Hemi? Could also build my own Kowalski edition Challenger....

Cory, the key to buying the SRT models is...

-wait until next model year.. Deep into it!
-Pray for high gas prices when you go for it.

Both my challenger and 300 srt models were FULLY loaded with every option and i paid in the modest 30's for them both. By far the best bang for the buck!

Heck, i actually paid less for my 300 SRT then i paid for my 300C ! All because of high gas prices. When the prices are high, nobody wants to buy a car that takes premium unleaded. These are company cars for me, so the gas is not an issue. Besides i have a rule. No cars that are under 350HP. You just cant get on the freeway with any less!

The problem is that the concept looked good in '99. They changed direction and made a great looking muscular sedan. With the current model, they tried to take the muscular sedan and go back 13 years. For me it doesn't work but different strokes for different folks.

4:30 am just back from poker, my buddy says the cuda isn't in the line up.

Time will tell if he is pulling my chain.

as far as a turbo awd goes he says there is an alfa in the works, a bit bigger than the wrx, wagon style.
