After being unemployed 15 months, I have a company interested in me. They sent me an email requesting additional information. YAHOO!!
They asked about my computer skills in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. I'm considered good enough to teach classes in them. However, they asked about SQL, Access, and VBA. I haven't any experience with them. I'm afraid lacking experience in those applications will hurt my chances.
Pretty nervous right now. I haven't been in a job interview since 1983.

Do a few google searches for VBA, Access and SQL. That way you will have a understanding of what each application does and you can talk the talk in the interview.

Good Luck
Did that already, but will do some more.
Thanks

Bill, if it'll get you employed, tell them you have a support team for the technical stuff right here. I can help you with SQL anytime and I'm sure we have folks that can help with the Access and VBA.
Good luck!!

I work with sql - pl/sql from oracle, and t-sql from microsoft sql server, access and vba every day. Member #2 on support team at your service, because one day I'll be able to afford a kit and it's a certainty I'll benefit from all the cobra support on this forum.

Get yourself a spy wire setup and everyone can help you answer the questions while they are interviewing you.....You can just tell them you need to consult with the voices in your head!
Seriously though....Good luck. You deserve it.
