I found this image in a box set I just got. Thought it was a cobra until I saw the trunk lid and the door opening is the wrong radius. (pardon the hippies)

It almost looks like the door had the hinges on the back. The 2 little gray pieces at the top and bottom of the door opening.
Anyone know of a small roadster with suicide doors?
It's metal (see the rust). It has a little brace to hold up the windshield. Looks like the dash is flat across. I don't think its got the suicide doors - looks like hinges attach forward.
Tose "hippies" look like they're American - do you think the pic was taken in the US?
I'm thinking it's a British car, but can't match it with the usual suspects (MG, Triumph, Jag, etc.)
I'm stumped.

I Used to have a Whitby built Challenge car and a 390FE powered MK4 Roadster...now the ex wife has a Whitby Challenge car and 390 Mk4 !
That's what my parents drove me around the block in to put me to sleep when I was a baby. Dad said he was never sure if it was the drive or the exhaust fumes
Oh, Yeah! Clarence Cleanwater!
My first ride in a British sports car was in an MGA, only I was unconscious. I crashed my bike infront of a doctors house when I was 8, and his wife drove my Mom and me to the horsepital in it. I woke up a couple days later.
