Hey raceral. Off topic but I think I may have been to your plant once. I work for Flowserve and we make pumps and seals. What do you do there? Bob.

Southbound train...hop on it! It's a beautiful area with plenty of boonies.

We are a high end machine shop. Machining Stainless mostly.Spinnerets for the textile industry. You better be pretty sharp for this job. You have to do everything from fixing the crapper to trouble shooting CNC machines, controllers etc. I read the requirements and you better be able to walk on water.
Oh... we are owned by the Koch Brothers...

Crazy Bob.. we used to be Dupont till 2004. Got bought out, its called Invista now.

Cool Really?

That's exactly the job position I had before I moved to Las Vegas. American Metals was the company. Gave it all up to work in Telecommunications. The work is sooo much lower on the "Stress Meter". Regular hours, NO travel (except to Texas for additional training), good pay w/ OT if I want it. Life is good - Retirement is right around the corner. Definitely not looking for a career at this stage of my life.

With all the college grads looking for work, there ought to be someone to fit this bill.

Good luck in your search . . .

Doc

Sounds like 2 positions to me, maybe 3........ A good general facilities guy and a Master Electrician with a bunch of industrial control experience and the ability to repair CNC machinery.

It will be dificult to find someone to do both, maybe either one.

Best of luck!!
