Looks like a cool job. The video was great to watch. So are you the guy helping the buyer/builder or do you do the work that's done before the buyer shows up for his 6 day build?
I wonder if they would consider getting into the home builder market? Go with the FFR model and sell all the parts you'd need (less engine, trans & wheels). Then provide the mounts for the engine you wanted to drop in.
That would have to be more affordable and open up the market to people with a lower budget requirement ($75k as a starting point is a lot of coin).

I will be doing both..Building the vehicle and assisting the customer build also..The customer assist was yesterday..He never had turned a wrench before so it was some what a longer process to install a parts that would have taken about half the time..But it was fun explaining and talking him through it. I will also be helping doing some of the welding since I am a certified welder in Mig and Tig..Love to tig!
Local Motors will not being going into the market as F5 ever, since it will be changing what it builds..Only 2000 Ralley Fighters will be built..
Reserve yours today because the price might go up since the price of parts to build it has gone up..We are trying to do as much as possible in house to keep the price where it is.
