Curiosity's computer was out of date before they even launched. It's probably getting Adobe updates. LOL

Remember two things about computers: If it works and you can afford it, it's obsolete.

Ah crap Jim, I clicked shutdown instead of reboot!

I read somewhere else that it only has 4GB of storage on it. Wonder why so little.

I think I read that was the largest available that had been tested and proven to withstand the environment to which Curiosity would be subjected. Temps, vibration, G-Forces etc.

I think that was considered state of the art in 2004 when it was first designed.
