Icon21 My eyes have stopped burning ....

I think I was temporarily blinded by that pic.....
Someone asked me if my Mk III was a kit - I told them (truthfully!!) it was a custom build.

I find the term "kit" degrading. So many parts, wiring, body mods - it is custom built. Besides - IMHO - mass produced cars are more of a true "kit" than these hand built beauties!

Maybe---Big MAYBE......

.....maybe if you were building a Drag Race car (Think Funny Car with a purpose built chasis etc) you could use some of the fiberglass panels??

Funny cars seldom have much resemblance to their "make".

How much would that be worth?

Well, I called on this fine piece of work to go look at it in person. It has been sold. Some poor sole paid $6800 for it. OUCH!

I was going to offer him $100 just to get it out of there. I was thinking of doing a Redneck Kobra. Think I could have done it for around $1k. Good luck to who ever got it
