Wish I didn't have to do it, but the time has come where I have to sell the cobra. I just put the posting in the classifieds, with a link to the craigslist ad. I have been avoiding the forum since I made the decision, and I wrote the ad three days ago. Took me that long to post it.
The price might seem high to some people, but I figure the chicken farmers signature is worth something since he has moved along in life. You can always throw me an offer and I can say "yes, no, maybe".
It is gonna be real hard to come back to the forum to see what is going on. But, I know I will check in periodically.
I have only met a few people (in person) from the forum - Derald, ChrisT - and it is gonna be real hard to see Joe T driving his cobra in the neighborhood - but such is life in the big city when you can't dance.
Flame me if you want on the price, but that is what I am asking.
Thank you to everyone for what you provide to this brotherhood.
Maybe, someday, I can get a coupe, which I would dearly love.

Reason: Still haven't learned punctuation, spelling, grammar and that other crap.
I might be right behind ya. 10 years with my car. I keep thinking it is time to move on. Maybe to something else, or just to get out of debt. I have been wanting a 1950's Ford Pickup...I keep looking for one, so that tells me something. I just have to get up the balls to sell FANGS. Don;t want to, but want to....Anyways, I feel your pain. Good luck with it.

Mark - Hang in there man... Many of us have moved on but we hang out here in the ffcars "hood" 'cuz we are all brothers in grease...
Your price is the value you place on the car which you feel is reasonable. It is what it is - and the only people that price really matters to are you and the buyer. Best of luck to you on the sale - but - don't think you have to leave the brotherhood because its gone...

Man that thing is absolutely beautiful with those white pipes!
Sorry to hear, things always end up shaking out right side up eventually for a reason. A positive attitude through this and looking forward to doing it all over again is certainly the best advice. Not sure I could follow that advice, but still holds true

I found the article the original owner (Gerhardt Gast) wrote about his journey in having the car built and driving it across the country. Took me a few hours to find as the article was buried in a geocities archive.
