I think the inside stairs to the second floor are in the wrong spot for that layout

When you enter through the front door, the kitchen would be on the left and the bedrooms on the right. the picture of the house has it the other way

in the show when you go in the front door the stairs are to the right, which would put you in the attic according to the pics.

As others have said, the layout is flipped on the interior. The show showed the house as it sits though so that wouldn't be a NEW error...

On the show, the driveway was on the other side as well...

And where would the attic bedroom be???

The second story window was a fake window. None of the bedrooms in the show had a window.

Howdy,

I'm clueless. I haven't a single idea about what "show" y'all are talking about.

The real house was only a modest split-level while the interior set already under construction on Paramount Studios' Stage 5 in Hollywood was that of a roomy two-story structure. But Hollywood set designers came to the rescue, attaching a phony window atop the house to give the appearance of a full second floor.

Above info found from a Google search..

Paul, think about TV shows of 70's.. Here's the story, of a..........

11222 Dilling Street, North Hollywood, California - Google Maps

Check out the cars in the driveway to the right of the house we're talking about. What is that red car on the right next to the Mustang? Opal GT? Haven't seen one of those in a long time.

Now that I know what show it is, the real cluster is the dad was supposedly an architect and the house only had one bathroom.... what kind of an oversight is that? I call that a major error.

I know the show and don't see the error but that top photo looks way too much like my house down to the peak on the front with the exposed beams, picture windows, the stone, T1-11 siding, and the double front doors. My home has a full finsihed basement. Does this one?

Gotta love the mid '70's

Greg

So...Does that house have two driveways? Or which one belongs to the house. The left or the right?

For the youngsters among us, the show was The Brady Bunch (1969-1974).

No mancard violations here, as most of us were kids when this was on.

I was 13 when the show went off the air.

The Brady Bunch house in the Google photo has a driveway and it's on the left side of the house.

Just wondering as the google maps pic shows a different house number right near the edge of the left side drive. The right side looks like a garage.

Yeah, I noticed that. If you zoom in you can see the house doesn't have any curb line suitable for painted numbers, except for the left curb of the Brady Bunch house driveway. There's an arrow next to the numbers that point to the house on the left.

Here's aerial photos. lol..

lol...

This brings us to a much more important question.

Marcia, Jan or Cindy?

I was always a Jan kind of guy..

Although father time hasn't been exactly kind to her or Marcia..
