Joining "The ClubHouse" regarding payment...

To the Powers-that-Be,

Are you saying I MUST set-up an account with PayPal to join "The ClubHouse"?? ...

I've known/heard of TOO many Horror/Nightmare-stories about using PayPal, and, in fact, I won't even accept it on my 15-YO+ Internet Site, UltimatePassage.com, because, frankly, if someone has a PayPal account, they MUST Also have a Visa/MC to back it up.

WHERE COULD I MAIL A BANK-CHECK TO?. Plus, if I pay in Cash/Check, Would I get a discount?? --After all, you'll be Saving the 6%+ you will NOT be paying in PayPal And Credit Card fees!! --Hey, Never hurts to ask!

PM me if this is an option.

Blessings,

Lisa

Lisa, send a PM to "administrator" and I'm sure he can help you. I believe that I read he is off-line for a few days due to holidays, so it may take a few days to get your answer..

FYI, I've used PayPal for many years and never had a problem. They are more Buyer friendly, so I can understand why you wouldn't want to use them as a vendor. I think you're probably taking more of a risk mailing a check, than you are using PayPal, but either way I'm looking forward to seeing you in the Clubhouse. You might be the first female in the Clubhouse, so I hope you're not easily offended!

EDIT: Oppss.. forgot about Karen, although she doesn't come in there and play very often..

Dear Joe,

Thanks for the advise! ..and NO, I'm Not easily offended in ANY way, shape or form. ...Some of my comments over the the last two years have been torn to shreds by this group, but I still check-in at least every 48-hours, if not more often than daily!

You're ALL like the brothers I don't have! ..and sometimes a "Reality-Check" on how Men Think, is a 'Good Thing' for me! ..I just wish some of you were closer to me (like the Cleveland area!) instead of half or across the country!

I'm looking forward to gaining access to "The Clubhouse"!

Blessings,

Lisa

Besides the dues, there is a skin thickness test!!!

No thin skin allowed. Thankfully there is no IQ or thickheadedness test.

The clubhouse is a dark and scary place. You should have fun over there.

Back to the PayPal concerns: I have never had a problem paying someone using PP, but they have screwed me so bad as a seller that I will never use Ebay/PP again as a seller.

Is the pup well yet? I'd sure prioritize that expense over a few political discussions and some porn.

Welcome Lisa!! Nothin' scary in there, and in fact, it's pretty entertaining...You've held your own here already, and while not required, just keep a firesuit handy if you decide to enter the fray....

"Off Topic Posts

POLICY: We do not want off topic posts unless it is a benefit to the group. Don't post anything that would offend someone. This site is not here to solve the problems of the world. We are here to have fun and go away with a smile. If you think your post might upset someone, then DO NOT POST it.

COMMENT: Too many people get upset when they read something and they disagree with it. This causes heated arguments over the Internet and it never solves anything except causing hard feelings and allows somebody to spend hours writing something so they can "make their point".

More About Off Topic Posts: Try to keep Off Topic posts that relate to Roadsters, sports cars, or light hearted topics. Sometimes you may post something about a fellow member. Such as new babies, deaths, personal hardships, personal accomplishments and supporting vendor promos.

COMMENT: Off topic posts tend to be the thing that brings down a well ran forum. Our site is successful because we don't get too personal. We keep it light and "on topic" 99% of the time. Off topic posts also tend to bring in people without Roadster replicas to give their 2 cents. And sometimes these people get too emotional and personal. Maybe if they had a car to build they would have less time to post negative comments? Anyway, if we keep it on topic most of the time, we won't have these issues.

Photo & Video Sharing

POLICY: Posting photos and videos is acceptable if it is related to helping someone build a Roadster or upgrade a car. Do not post off topic photos or videos, please link them. Many users are on dial up, so be mindful of using photos because it makes the pages load slow. No nudity. Please refrain from posting girls with cars, unless it's a Roadster. And then, please warn people in your post and link the photo. Please do not post something that a mother would not want her 10 year old son to see.

Cocoa "-Beans/-Puffs" is almost Too Fine! It seemed to take 'forever' to get over the kennel cough, but now that's she's 100% well, she now barks and howls between 6pm and midnight --to the point I'm sometimes wishing she was still sick!! ...I've started giving her '5-minute time-outs' in another room in my home, which hasn't exactly been productive.

But, I'm still 'crazy' about her despite this --not so little-- idiosyncrasy!

But thanks for asking!!

Blessings,

Lisa
