Anyone know if Neverwet has gone on sale?

Can't seem to find anyone selling it yet and it was supposed to be out early 2012. Still saying not available on their website. I want some when it does sell but it will probably be cost prohibitive for a while until demand dies down.

Superhydrophobic spray-on coating. [VIDEO]

Pretty cool with tons of applications. great for my boat canvas, boots, etc.

Sounds very interesting and I can see its many potential uses but....what about its unwanted side affects?

What if you get it on something you don't want it on like your skin?

Will it be absorbed?

Can you get it off?

What will remove it?

Nanotechnology can have some great potential uses but I've also heard of some real scary potential side effects like mass poisoning. These particles are so small they can go anywhere or get into anything, again like your skin. These particles can walk right through your body. Just sitting here thinking about these nanos getting into our bodies and we start coming apart or stop working because our insides start repelling itself. ???

George

Edit: Short article on potential downside

I am wondering if you could use it on paint? Like your car? That would be great up here in salt country.....

I'd like to see how long it lasts at those prices. But I agree it is some pretty cool stuff.
