I just got back from a Brave pre-screening/party

It was fun. I got to sit in the VIP section and did not even get the TSA treatment like most general invitees did. They announced that they would be watching us for any cameras that slipped through security (night vision?).

It opens for the teaming huddled masses on Friday. Well worth watching. It was my first modern 3-D movie (of the modern polarized light variety).

Really looking forward to this movie. Pixar is just awesome and have (sadly ?) made some of my favorite movies.

It's got plenty of action and humor for the guys, but it will make the girls cry.

I've seen it twice with my kids. Great movie! La Luna, the short just before it is another fantastic Pixar piece (not quite as good as For the Birds but definitely better than Boundin). If you have any girls 10yo or younger they'll love Brave.

Definitely on our list to see. Love the new 3D and Pixar is still producing great stuff. So Mike? How'd you get the VIP treatment? That's pretty cool.

Eddie, I am ravishing a 15-year old as we speak.

Cheers.

Another off topic post. I attended a Whisky tasting a the Scottish Highland Games in San Diego and Glen Garioch 1797 Founder's Reserve was the crowd favorite as well as my personal favorite. It should be available within the US within 2 months.

This guy seems to like it too.

A chance to attend Scottish Games for free....

Ray (moderator) invited us to bring our cars to The Scottish Games since our cars are british in orgin. this is putting two of my three things together, but i have a wedding that weekend.

i'll look out for that whiskey, my favorite is Laphorig Full Cask strength, but that particular bottling is no longer available.

cheers,

i have just planned an evening to see Brave with my friend, her husband, and her two year old son. unfortunately, the little one can't do the 3D.
