That is pretty wild / amazing stuff. Crazy for sure... How long is the ride to the top?

I assume the capsule is on a chute and comes down for recovery on its own? It looks like a pretty high tech set-up over-all.

When does he open the chute on the way down? Do his feet get hot? How does he get back to Roswell and not wind up in New Jersey? Can you tell I've never jumped off anything higher than the porch?

Joe Kittinger, Jr jumped from 102,800 feet...in August,1960. Now he is an adviser for Baumgartner's jump. On the way from 1960 to today, Kittinger flew three combat tours in Vietnam and spent 11 months in a POW camp. Amazing man!

I've jumped from 13,000 and have the exact same question, and I was born in new jersey!

Street performer seats, tracks both sides, Levy pro bump steer, SN95 front spindles, FFR LCA's, Levy / Willwood brakes.
