Cute Erik (all 3 of 'em)!

Every man should have a dog and every little girl should have a kitty.

Have fun with them

Excellent! My wife couldn't believe I was receptive to adopting a new doggie only a month after losing my velcro dog, ZuZu's Petals, but I needed to be rescued.

Bless you Erik, for getting a rescue dog.

The AKC has relented and now allows "All American Dogs" to compete in performance events. Maloni is currently in Agility Training and we're having a blast.

Congrats! I think I will be going through what you just went through soon. Our cat will be 18 years old may. He's not doing so good right now.I have the feeling he's not going to be with us to much longer. He will be replaced . Our last cat lived 20 years .I don't see us not having a pet.Roger

Nice additions. Rescue animals really know that you gave them a second chance.

Well 4 months later... and well it appears either we have two dogs or two cats...I think the cat thinks it's a dog really... we really tried to socialize the pets this go around and it has benefitted everybody...we were very lucky when they pick us at the shelter....

here they are pretty much every night....

Haha, good stuff for sure. Our cat tolerates the dogs, but would never lay next to them or lick on them.
