Yesterday I spoke to a guy in the Ga office of Grem Smith Equip. They told me they are opening a warehouse here in Miami in Jan. So, I think I'll wait, then I can just go and pick one up locally.
In the meantime, I'm going to order the Garage Tile floor from G Smith.

I bought my Direct Lift through Greg Smith Sales. They are good people. I will definitely do more business with them.
The lift is great too!

Good to hear the positive feedback re: Greg Smith.
I've "penciled-in" an Atlas PV-10P (two post) from them for early next year after the new slab is poured.
And living in southern Utah, just NE of Vegas - will do a road trip to their Phoenix location for pick-up and "save" (?) shipping costs.

Hey Rob, I ordered my flooring off ebay from Floor Junkies in Texas. It was $1.59 a sq ft with free delivery.
Floor looks great, is slightly (maybe 1/8") thinner than race deck (I installed with a neighbor about a year ago in his garage). It's been 4 months with the list on it with no issues. . .
worth taking a look, it's about 1/2 the cost of race deck (I think the Greg Smith flooring is pretty expensive too)

Challenger lifts is one of the best quality lift makers on the market, you should look into their products online at http://www.iamaspamhamman.com and see what they have to offer.

Do any of u guys have experience with bendpak lifts? I've been looking at my options and it seems like there are a few people interested in the idea of a group buy for them at 6speedonline.
I'm mostly just going to use it for storage if that should make a difference in my selection process.

this is encouraging, i had no idea they were so inexpensive. looking for a house in an area where two-car garages are hard to find. a lift is a great option.
I gave them 3 months to deliver a lift that was supposed to be out the door the following week. Ended up having to file a dispute with my credit card company to get the charger back. Ordered a lift from Greg Smith the next day. It was here in 3 days. It's only been 6 months but I'm very happy. Couple items to think about. If they don't have a warehouse in your state you don't pay sales tax. Freight charge for mine to be shipped 300 miles was 160 to a freight depot. And yes Eddie it runs off 110.

I bought the same one about 6 months ago from the Greg Smith location in Miami. Paid, loaded, and on the way home in less than 1/2 hour. Put it together by myself in an afternoon utilizing an engine hoist and lifting straps. This is my second lift, and seeing how the safety features work, I am very satisfied. The specs are virtually identical to the Direct Lift they also sell.
