Four women rowing in the nude

This story caught my eye. I saw it on the internal web page at work of all places!

Britons make history by becoming first all-women crew to row across the Indian Ocean
As well as not seeing any land for more than two months, they had to row naked for much of the time to avoid getting skin sores from the sea salt.
There is a healthy and an unhealthy love of animals: and the nearest definition of the difference is that the unhealthy love of animals is serious. I am quite prepared to love a rhinoceros, with reasonable precautions: he is, doubtless, a delightful father to the young rhinoceroses. But I will not promise not to laugh at a rhinoceros. . . . I will not worship an animal. That is, I will not take an animal quite seriously: and I know why.

Wherever there is Animal Worship there is Human Sacrifice. That is, both symbolically and literally, a real truth of historical experience. — G. K. Chesterton, “On Seriousness,” The Uses of Diversity (1920).

After looking at their pictures, seeing them naked would not be worthwhile

You and I respectfully disagree about the one on the far right, it seems...

UV Exposure!

The part about nude women rowing lured me into reading this post but nude in the middle of the Indian Ocean! They would come to shore looking like beef jerky.
