John,

I'm on audiworld (although not a lot) and quattroworld. My 2003 allroad now has 170,000 miles and hopefully has another 130000 left in her. . .

maybe we've met at an audi gtg and didn't know it. . .

I just got mine in March with 118,000 on it. I had an A4 Avant years ago and loved it. I have been going on Audizine, but the maturity level on there is low. I just replaced the torque converter and the timing belt was done at 90k. I now have 123k on it and it went to NJ and back without a problem. It looks to be the same color blue as yours but I have the tan interior(non-allroad). I wanted the Allroad badly, but I had a budget of $6,000 and was lucky to find this one. It's immaculate and was a one owner.

Just came across this old thread on the board. Growing up my father had a wagon fetish. He raced a 57 210 wagon when he was a kid. As an adult he searched for the car and gave it a complete body off resto. The car was featured with a six page spread in super Chevy July of 08. He also partnered with Ferrari in Italy and panther west winds in England to build a 72 ferrari Daytona station wagon chassis number 15275. It was the 805th Daytona that Ferrari built. It's still out there known as the Ferrari Daytona shooting brake. Check it out.

Hey, how about a GTM wagon?

Then I might be able to fit the engine I REALLY want!

You forgot that very cool Jaguar Hearse from the movie Harold and Maude.

Or a hot rod bus for that matter....

And what about the Chevy Nomad?

New Chevy Nomad Concept car...

I'm thinking that Nomad concept would sell a ton of cars for Chevrolet. Of course, I thought the Cobra concept car would also and do you think Ford would listen to me????
Nooooooo......... they never listen.......

My buddy has a Mercedes 300 wagon and it is a really nice car.

I think IF the truck is done right it would be cool on the 33 chassis
but a sedan delivery would be even better.

For a great looking wagon you need to come downunder.

Check out the Holden Sportwagon .....

Available in a v6 or the mighty LSx 6.0 and 6.2 litre version.

You're right, too bad they aren't over here.

I would consider one of those.

What price range are they...in US $?

These are based on the Commodore, which you guys had briefly as the Pontiac G8. Sticker was same as sedan + $1000.

The all new Commodore (mostly a facelift I think) comes out next year I think and you will see that as some form of Chevy. Harass GM now to include the wagon version - it has been very popular over here.
