Missing Woman April Beth Pitzer (UPDATE 031908)

This is BIG news!!!

Yesterday General Outdoor Advertising honored their pledge and hung two full-sized billboards advertising the website and search for April. One is along the I-40 and the other is on Highway 58, both in Barstow. GOA could make thousands of dollars for those billboards for the next thirty-plus days, but instead donated the time and materials to help a total stranger. Thank you Tim Lynch!!!

We are hopeful this will be the trigger that causes someone to come forward with info regarding April's disappearance. It will also serve as a call to action for the actual search, which will be held April 26 and 27.

Guys, we still need donations. A little will go a long way here. If you've got some old Christmas lights that you wouldn't mind replacing, send them to me. Sand bags? They're cheaper to mail. Better yet, do what JayP did and send a Home Depot gift card so that we can get the supplies and equipment right there in Barstow.

Thanks to all of you that are following this story. I know that your hearts are in the right place.

I understand this is a very worthy cause, but it appears that each time you have news to communicate you start a new thread. For those in the group that haven't read your earlier threads, this can be very confusing. If I may make a suggestion, why don't you just update your prior thread(s) and then any interested readers can look up anything they might have missed?

I started out doing that, and I still like that idea. But when I went to update the post I could not update the title to change the date. Sergio was kind enough to make the edit once, but I didn't want him or anyone else to have to continually use a back door to do the updates on my behalf.

Maybe I could just include the basic story as the first paragraph and then add the latest update in a new thread. Or I guess I could include a link.

Any input???

I was thinking when watching the show, who is stupid enough to place a body in their own mine? exactly! so when he said they just didn't look far enough that tells me whoever did it put her in another mine close to his maybe, or maybe they just didn't look far enough into the other guys property etc.
Good luck~!

Rand.
