I suspect the GTM that was measured was the Stock Black GTM? If so that is impressive!!!

Im betting the GTM was the LS7 car. With a 15% drivetrain loss, thats 497HP at the crank. Pretty darn close to the advertised 500hp LS7.

actually that is low for the ls7 if that is what it was. most dyno stock at 450-460 give the headers and less restrictive intake that should accompany the gtm 480 is more likely.... i would guess that car is a heads cam ls1 or ls6 motor...

Thats the LS7 car, and it really isnt low, that is what I have seen stock Z06's dyno at. Bolt ons make them much better I hear.

have u soent much time on ls1tech? i dont think i havbe seen anyone dyno 430, also dont forget the gtm has headers and a less restrictive intake so should be closer to 480+...

Ok then it did not happen? Do you think they just pulled the number out of the air? All dynos vary. I think it is very good number. I do not know of many that have dynod a completely stock Z06. Cheers Richard.

Unless the GTM had longtubes they probably dont help much... also, whats different with the intake? The GTM uses a filter in a warm engine compartment? Did they change the actual intake?

The difference between dyno types can easily be 30hp. I think FFR has something like a mustang dyno at the event and they typically read lower than others.

According to the most recent Kit Car Mag the 430hp is at rear wheels on the Maroon LS7/GT3 GTM.
