Waiting...

Well after 1.5 years of planning and part gathering my kit is scheduled to arrive this morning at 10:00 a.m. via Stewart. I woke up this morning at 5:30 like a kid on Christmas morning. Can't believe the day is finally here... so excited.

I remember the day Stewart arrived with my kit. I just moved to a new neighborhood. Neighbors didn't know what to think. I think it was the first time in my adult life that I could relate to Christmas morning.

And so starts the best headache you will ever have!

Ah. The sweet memories of anticipation, excitement, and anxiousness. And yes, it's waiting for a car not a date.

Good luck with your build! The journey is about to begin.

Congrats.

TIP:

Before you pull the body check your Halo to body clearance and fitment at the door sills.

Reference; Gen II GTM Body to Roll Cage Clearance

Body resting on roll cage, not good

It is here.... Thanks sshae

Fuzzy... Its here!!!! Let's see some paint pics!!!

Not sure what number the kit is. I was hoping after taking inventory last night I would find the tag with the kit #. Maybe I missed it. Is it on the chassis?

I have been following the thread on halo clearance and was hoping I would not have an issue but.... I am sad to say mine is resting on the body in at least two places. Also looked at my dash peices and the material is delaminating just like others here.

Kind of sucks but like any problem I will just work through.

Congratulations !!!
Our vin # is stamped into the frame in the middle tunnel on the bottom. I think it's stamped into one of the door post also. The vin plate is in a manilla folder. The last three #s in the serial # is you build #.
Bummer about the halo.
