You can find a lot of that info on Californiamotorsports.net or Gboxweb.com

There you can find all the different ratios and some info on each unit.

Porsche Tranaxle specs

Here is a spreadsheet I compiled on Porsche specs. Most of the data is from Gbox.com. I was very handy to me when I was trying to select a gearbox.

Generally any of the 90+ G50 units will work well in the GTM. The G50/01 and G50/02 which were in 1987-1989 cars are not ideal, as I believe that FF5 has stopped producing flywheels for this model, and only provides for 90 forward.

I would be happy to discuss your options in more detail though if you would like to give me a call sometime.

Happy to help,

Hi Erik. Quick question that Im sure you will know the answer too. Installing a G50-21 compared to the more "common" G50-20 should not have any difference in quality of the gearbox. Only change in slightly longer gears right?

Yep you are correct, the G50.21 is simply longer geared. No other differences.
