I have quite a few pics of a completed gen I gtm with a gen II hood. Only problem is I'm new to the forum thing and not sure how to post pics. I apologize but the pics I do have are taken with an iPhone 4. Could anyone help me get these pics posted? The gtm has quite a few mods and would like to show them off.
This is Bart Browns car. He is the owner of All Angles Collision in Wichita ks. There is actually three gtms at his shop right now, including my gen II. I spoke with Bart yesterday and he said he would sell his if anyone was interested.
Hi Buddy. Beautiful car. I appologize for being slow to get your e-mail with the pictures. I have been away from my computer until now, and just saw the e-mail with your pictures. Looks like Fuzzy took care of it for you!
GTM #0081: Some say that I only know two facts about ducks (both being wrong), and that I am illegal in nine US states.[... All I know is that I'm called "The Stig".
Aren't those hood vents supposed to be the brake vents? Looks awesome to my eye. I saw a challenge car at the open house with the same vents from the GTM put into the hood. Mark Dougherty said it really helped keep the heat down in the engine bay of the Roadster.
Personally, I just think it looks like a very modern take on the standard hood vents. Looks like a great car. The pin stripe detail between the two primary colours is a great piece of detail.
The interior is still gen I and has not fully been completed. I'll get some pics of the engine bay. Transaxle is a g50. It's actually the one that use to be in the ffr red gtm before it became the yellow gen II.
