Links to $64K Questions

Here are a few links on some of the issues people keep asking about and don’t seem to have the time to do a little searching. These are only a sample of the results, but offer a great deal of information on the subject. Some of these problems have been addressed and/or corrected by FFR.

I’ll add to this list as I run across different items. Suggestions anyone?

when you do a search you have to click advanced and make sure you select GTM supercar forum. Otherwise, you get all the forums and it is easy to forget to check that.

Which really sucks because you spent a lot of time doing that and it was much appreciated! This might have finally stopped the rediculously repetitive posts

Haha great work!!! And people thought we were being rude by telling them to do a search and not be lazy.

1) Never thought you were being rude. MAybe you couldn't see a newbies POV, but you weren't being rude. I understood that the searching should be done, but....

2) I didn't have the time to put something like that together from my work computer without being fired, and...

3) I didn't know the specific questions to ask or key words to use in a search, so it really needed to be done by someone who "has read all the threads on here".

Obviously it was something that many, particularly newbies like me, wanted. Hope it gets stickied. Thanks again.

Great idea.....unless you have actually tried to use the FAQ page. No one can add anything there without "sufficient privelages". Whatever those are.

Hello Herb, and welcome. There have been many many times where most of us on the forum have stated that this sort of "repository" should be created, but for whatever reason, none of us ever got around to actually doing it... Until you came along.
Good job!

By the way, which HVAC system did you decide to go with?

Michael,
Bought one from Brion G. Was at my mother-in-laws about 10 miles from him, stopped in and left with the VA system from FF. Have used VA before and adapted Cadillac automatic climate control to it and works fine. That's in my '51 Ford PU. Herb

Thanks for putting the worn in on that. I am in the same position as you, I have the donor and I'm working on getting all the parts, then I will order the kit. Its taking me a while though I have little to no time to work on my project. Good luck with yours, if you are as thorough as you were with this, it will turn out awesome

Good work Herb. This is the same format as the Cobra FAQ, so my vote would be to move it over to the GTM FAQ area so it can easily be found.

If you move it to the FAQ section, can you make sure it is not locked to the average poster to this forum. I can not post anything in the FAQ section and I don't think most others can either. If it is to be kept a "living" thread/topic, as I believe it should, users must be able to add to the list.

Thanks in advance.
