Lightbulb Door panel, pocket

I am still tinkering with the cutout for the door panel pocket. Would like to utilize the space somehow instead of just covering it up like most have done.

Anyone used that cutout area for a pocket of some sort?

I am contemplating mounting a touch pad type safe that folds a spring loaded door down to store valuables and mount it securely to the door frame somehow.

Howdy Richard,

I haven't got that far yet but it sound like a good idea.

The locking safe is a good idea too.

I carry a gun 24/7 except when I'm at work, it's not allowed ( wouldn't carry at work even if I could because it would be to temping to use it ) so I leave it in my truck with the doors locked.

Since the Spyder doesn't have locking doors, or a roof, side windows, etc. I will need a safe ( no pun intended ) place to secure my gun so I was thinking of mounting a small safe in the trunk.

Paul

Concealed carry is the primary reason for the accessible safe within reach. Definitely want something hidden from view and secure. Mounting something on the transmission hump between the seats wouldbe difficult to reach and in the way of my shifting elbow.
