I still don't know if I am selling or keeping my spyder. If I keep it I will have to finish the top I started and am not close to finishing and I would like to quite it down. So here is my thought.
I am thinking of taking the sidepips extending them to go in front of the rear wheels and into the trunk where I would try to put a x-pipe and mufflers. Maybe a muffler by pass for the times I do want it loud. The tips would come out on ether side of the license plate.
Concerns I have. One is, is there enought room to route the pipes pass the rear wheels without intreferrying with anything (car is in a different location then I am living and I have not looked at it to see). And second will I be able to keep the mufflers cool enought. As most know the trunk is useless unless you make modes and I still don't think it is enought.
Let me know what you think.

Some have said I am not playing with a full deck little do they know I only have two jokers.
FFR Spyder-GT 302 carb, @ 348hp and 325ft-lbs, three link 3.55, F-R 15:1 rack, 17\" 335 and 265 wheels, keyless ignition, 13\" and 12\" brakes all wrapped in yellow.
Right now I only have the basic frame done what I need to work on is how I am going to attach it to the top of the windshield. I just do not have the time to work on it.

When I see the car again I will take pictures. It really is not much but I will take what I can.

There are several threads in the Coupe section on making the exhaust quieter. Plus most of these exhaust mods improve horsepower too.
With all the frame mods to my Spyder I have about 10.2 cubic feet of space in the trunk with the main area being roughly 2.2'x2.25'x1.0'. It's not huge but it's usable.
I'm still working on the aluminum panels and I'm almost finished with the trunk area.

Remeber others have done this with the Cobras and also look at other convertable top cars for ideas as well.
If you can post pictures of what you have others will help with ideas.
