Thanks for all the time and effort keeping the Handy Posts updated, they have been really helpful during my build.
I noticed lately that many of the Handy Posts do not come up when clicked. Instead, I get a message that I have requested "a topic that doesn't exist." Some examples:
"Clutch," "Heater/Defroster" and "Foot Box Vents." Lots of others too. Is it possible that the threads are too old and are now archive-only and that is why they arent coming up? Or maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Thanks again.
Tom

You are right and thank you.
Some are dead; Paul Rudolph is working on those.
I had e-mail contact with him last week.

Guys, sorry. i did have a collection of great posts that Larry incorporated into the handy posts. Tom hit the nail on the head as to why some of them aren't working. When the archive took place alot of the links now point to an invalid location. I thought the fix would be easy, being changing the forum location in the URL but it appears the topic number has changed as well from the archiving process. I'm going to try and do searches in the archives and see if I can rebuild the info. It may take a while to do that but hopefully I can remember what the posts looked like and get it all together again. (Some I may never get back. i.e. the brake links. I could do a search on brakes but that would bring up way too many hits to sort through)
Sorry, it was a great compilation and was going to come in handy.
Please add:
What to do when the young blonde female in car next to you at the lights trys to get yout attention but your wife is in the passenger seat.
Also:
How you deflect questions such as,
Is it a real one ?
How much did it cost ?
How fast does it go ?
Also we need a support section on how to deal with the attention when driving and how not to excede your current hat size with all complements you receive.
Dave ,
We need another HANDY POSTS for DRIVERS for after the build is done. Good idea. I have to deal with some of those issues as well.

Larry:
This is a great reference, thanks a lot!
What about a thread on power steering (I picked the “installation of Heidt’s…” from your initial post & it told me “You have requested a topic that does not exist”!), being this isn’t in the manual, it would sure be helpful if there were some information on this.
It would also be nice to see some information on how to go about polishing valve covers, intake manifolds & other aluminum parts.
Thanks again Larry.
Frank
Thanks for all the work !!!! Is there some way this info can be accessed from the main post page ? Like under " Post a Reply " next to faq ? That would be easier to find. Some people new to the forum may not even know this exists. Thanks again for so much hard work here.
Thanks for the reference threads
