What is being used in place of the brake pressure switch,I'm looking for an electrical brake switch that will mount in the same hole?

Use the mustang switch it is not Pressure in the true sense of the word. Very reliable. Hope this helps. Cheers Richard.

Richard, I have the Painless wire harness,so is there a connector I need to get then?

Here is one way to do it, the switch goes into the hole that the cruise control dump switch used:

John thanks for the Auto Zone brake switch part no. I was wondering what to do about my brake lights also.

Just crimp connectors on the wires and hook it up.

Even if you have the painles the mustang switch works great. Just put a spade connector on the orange and the white put one on each terminal on the Mustang switch and it works great. Cheers Richard.

Just did what Richard stated last week. I have the painless set-up and you put the clips on the orange wire and White wire does not matter what side goes where..

tadaaa I have brake lights..
