Never raced a cobra there but a friend of mine and I used to run a bike there (gsxr 1000 running a best of 8.94). We would run at Sac because the tech as Sears... I mean Infineon was more strict. If you can, try to go on a Wed becasue it is usually a little more relaxed than the weekend. Hopefully you wont need arm restraints, a full suit, or a driveshaft safety loop. Bring a good helmet and if you have proper driving gloves that will help. If you have a flame proof driving suit that would be good to bring but natural fiber long sleeves would be a good idea.

I know I'm responding kinda late, but I thought I'd chime in. I was able to run my cobra at Sacramento Raceway a few years ago. At first they said, probably not. I brought a helmet, and arm restraints. The track official initially said no, but I told him I promised him I'd run it really easy and just wanted to get an idea of how the car ran in the quarter. He insisted that I could only run solo down the track, meaning not against any other car, and if he saw me getting the least bit out of control, it would be my last run. So I agreed.

My roadster had 404rwhp, and I knew it was easily an 11 sec car. I upheld my end of the agreement, and took it easy. I granny shifted each gear and rolled into the throttle rather than driving it like you normally would at the strip. I could have had a better et and mph, but I knew it was a ballpark figure. I ran a 12.0 @ 121 mph, which of course is mid to low 11 speed with a good launch and aggressive shifting.
