I found your post with the picture of the Kumho XS and the Sumitomo's side by side. You can see the XS are a little wider. 335/35/17
I looked on the Tire Rack's website to see the specs on the Kumhos and the Sumitomo's. Would you know it according to there webiste there measured exactly the same?? GO Figure. Kumho Ecsta XS

FYI, I don't know if it's due to the mold release or ??? but the XS are greasy as can be until you get a couple hundred miles and a few heat cycles in them, so don't panic if your first driving impression is less than stellar. The more they wear the better they stick.

I read a warning that 500 miles need to be on them to wear out the mold release.. Thanks for the FYI. Now I have to decide on the front.
