SRP,

I did a search and didn't find anything on LVLP guns. I suppose it's a pretty new type of gun that has come out? Do you know much about them?

Again, I'm one of those folks that just have a 6hp, 30gal compressor and I have read that these might work.(?)

NCP....neither had I and I was thinking about going ahead with a larger compressor until I saw a discussion of these on the Auto Body 101 forum:

and SATA has their own version called the "RP" (Reduced Pressure)

Might look into that, my Devilbiss GTi uses enough air to inflate the Hindenberg.

Thank You Jeff M .. I had not heard of that technology.. So ofcourse I cant give you any feedback either Sounds like a possibility though.. IF it flows enough product. I had a turbine HVLP to do touch up work back in the day and it was fine for bumpers and mirrors but lousy for whole car paint work..This setup sounds like it may be a better setup though.

I'm in the same boat...small compressor. I have been looking into the EVO4014 as well (actually I'm thinking about getting the EVO4018 that has a 1.8 tip since I need to spray featherfill). Heard lots of great things about this gun. If you get one let us know how it goes.

I plan to do the compressor test with my new Finishline III to see how it goes. If it looks like it really overpowers my comp I may sell it and get the 4018.
