Grinding out my half cured blister repair filler is loading up my grinding tools. Has anyone found a chemical or solvent that will disolve this stuff? I've tried lacquer thinner, paint stripper, brake cleaner, gasket remover and alcohol. Any other ideas?

Why are you grinding it out? Wrong ratio of hardner? I am puting mine in tomorrow and your answer will be helpful.

Brian,
I just ground mine out tonight and filled them (made sure it was blue!). I couldn't believe how much gelcoat there was in some of the seams. It looked like anytime there was a slight misalignment of the mold pieces, they made up for the difference with gelcoat. That high strength filler is amazing! I also have new found respect for SRP, NC Painter, and all others that do this for a living. What a dust storm, what a mess, what a pain! They definitely earn their fee!

A dust storm is right I hung 2 panels of plastic sheeting down my garage and put the body in between. I bought a strong industrial fan that mounts on the wall and opened up the garage door. when I'm going to get "dusty" I just crank up the fan and blow it outside. Luckily my shop is on the rear side of my house and you can't really see it from the street!

Good luck
