Sharing some pics

This was my wife's first trip out in the Cobra! We have been together over 2.5 years and married almost a year now and she has had no desire to ride in it, she said "it looks scary" so I haven't pushed the issue. Well, Sunday I got it out for the first time this year (I know I know I should be ashamed) and changed the oil in it and to my surprise that night she asked if I would take her for a ride in it on Monday. So, without hesitation I said absolutely! I thought I would share some of our pictures from our Labor day trip to my parents.

BTW she really enjoyed it as I thought she would. She did get a hot side pipe on her leg so that upset her a little but I told her we all get them and that's like a right of passage for a Cobra owner.

Congrats on getting your wife to go out with you. Four years later I still have not been successful in my attempts.

Too cool. My wife made it twice before she quit. The first ride(it rained) and her second (I got sideways hitting second gear) and now she refuses to ever go again.

Nice colors.

Yeah, I punched it while rolling in 2nd gear once and it kicked sideways on me. She quickly told me that she could walk back home if it was going to be like that for the whole ride. So, I took it pretty easy after that. Well, except for the 2nd pic if you look close you can see a little tire smoke.

Won't be long and she will be driving it. At first my wife didn't want anything to do with ours but now she will take it out any chance she gets.

Well, lucky for me she has no idea how to drive a straight shift and my Cobra in it's current form would be a little crude to learn in. If I still had a stock 5.0 and clutch in it or still had my Roush I'd teach her.
