Interior/Trunk lighting

Just came from Costco, where I found an LED Accent Lighting System from Innova Lighting.

It is a 12v kit, with the 12 AC adapter since it's made for indoors, and comes with 4 10" LED strips, encased in some sort of silicone material (with foam sticky tape back) and an assortment of connectors. Each strip has 15 LEDs and has a dual position switch for bright/dim. Can't really see much of a difference in the brightness and for my use, will only use the full 12 volts.

I plan on one on each side of the cockpit, mounted to the 2x2 cross tube, 1 for the trunk and one for the between-the-seats glove box. Even with natural light in the garage, there seems to be plenty of light to assist with belt fastening in the dark.

The whole kit was $30.00

Very cool Peter. I did something very similar. I bought 2-36" long LED strips that's used for under cars. Mounted one under the dash and the other to the 3/4" trunk hoop. Gives us plenty of light. Sorry for the noise, my unit heater kicked in.
