Need Help ith brakes

When I ordered the new calipers from Rock Auto, everything was good. When I got back from vacation part # FRC10603 is on back-order from the manufacturer. I found several other websites that claimed to have them but then 2days later all say they are unavailable. Anyone have any ideas where they can be found?

Thanks,
Doc

Can someone also please ask this on the other forum as it will not let me register?

I would think one of the forum vendors could help you out. Have you checked with Richard @ North race cars, Mark @ breeze, Mike Forte...?

Any auto parts store can get you the calipers.. they are out of a 1994-1998 Ford Mustang Cobra.

O'Reileys has them listed with brackets for a pretty good price,
part# 18B4654 for Driver
part# 18B4655 for Passenger

Also I am pretty sure DiscBrakesRus.com has them with brackets, they cost more but are powder coated in a choice of colors.

Loaner ?

If your'e trying to prep for the Spec Series w/ the rest of the guys & wind up in a bind have Jim or John shoot me a note & I can loan you out some parts till you get what you need as I took off all my PBR stuff and now run Wilwoods ..... just need them back for the next chassis .....

Don't be afraid of the junk yard, Dorman & DBRUS sell rebuild kits, very easy job .....

Pat

Thanks guys,

I think I found the ones with brackets buy Cardone from Rock Auto. In a perfect world I would like Raybestos on both side but this should be fine Unfortunately, they won't behere in time for this weekend, but I will try to get to VIR for Marty's test session in 2 weeks.

Thanks
Doc

great, look foward to seeing you out there. To bad about this weekend though. We would love to have more FFR guys to hang out with.

BTW, I think I was the last Rockauto order. They had said as much when I got the replacement one, but I would have thought they would have had more of them by now since that was weeks ago.
