Sherry will not be going but I will make it Rain or Shine. Like Bruce said I'm broke but now my Cobra has a top. I better calk around the windshield posts better. It leaked on the Oregon Coast trip.

Looking forward to see everyone again and meeting some new friends!

Ok, everyone that has been to my place probably knows about the "Cleco Game".
We do it everytime with some minor variations.

Here's the deal this year: I'll have a number of gold and black clecos in a jar or bowl.
Instead of guessing a number, this year you'll be guessing the percentage of gold verses black clecos.

When you write your best guess down, write it down to the 100ths.

Example: 54.55%

There shouldn't be any ties this way. If there is, I'll also have you write down how many gold clecos there are, the closest will be the tie breaker.

The prize: We'll go for a flight in the Skybolt. We'll do as much or as little as you care or can take. Much better than a roller coaster!!

Here's a sample:

Sure, it won't take an hour to get to Brian's but we can BS a little before we head out or arrive a little early.

Bruce,

Wear your shades....sun will be in your eyes. Darren WILL try to lose you on back roads. Trust me, I know. His 408 sounds bad-ass though!

I guess I'll let you guys start ridiculing me now. I doubt I'm going to make it. I had to turn my wipers on this morning and I only have about 8% of my roof on. I'll be thinking of you guys while I'm nailing in shingles.

Oh ya, I say 47.94% gold to black with 142 gold ones.

The weather looks good for the next 4-5 days, you can make it!

If not, I'll write your numbers down...

Sorry you can't make it - why not at least try and get away for a couple of hours? Weather looks good for the rest of the week.

What does it look like up there? No rain here but it is pretty wet! Gotta break out the duct tape to tape up my wheel wells.

Talking Snaking through the back roads!

Saturday, Sept 29th--Doug, Thanks for another nice Cobra party. The only trouble with you being the host, is that you don't get to enjoy "snaking" through those back roads with 10 Roadsters running with a full head of steam, on the way to your house. Finish your car over this winter and join us on the road. Thanks again for several hours of "car talk". Neat cars and a great bunch of guys. Paul

Thanks for hosting again Doug - always fun getting together. We need to do this more often.

Hey Paul - I found a pair of aviator sunglasses in my garage - would those happen to be yours?

Red face Sitting on a box just inside the garage door! Yep! Their mine.

Thanks Howard, I've been wondering where those things went all day. I'm going to the Snohomish Car Show early in the morning but maybe I can stop by on my way home in the afternoon, if that would work for you. Thanks for finding them for me. Paul
