I'm up for Saturday and/or Sunday breakfast at Elmer's on Sandy and we can go in as a mob.
I'm thinking around 8:00 or so and we should be ready to go over around 9:00.
Just a thought.

I'll probably have to miss breakfast. My parents and some freinds from Eugene are in town so we will be going out to the track a bit later. See ya there.

Hey, that was fun. Sunday parade lap they let us go last so my hopes were high for a good pace around the track. Nope, very slow pace. That red with white stipes Cobra behind me got a lecture for laying down some rubber under the bridge. He swears he didn't do it, I believe him, lol. Got to meet Brent and check out his outrageous Mk 4 GT40. Hopefully someone will post some pics. It was great seeing everybody and the guys/gals from the other car clubs were really nice to talk to. Cheers.
Thomas
Thanks Tim!
Billy and I had a good time on saturday. My brother came out sunday and just in time for the early parade lap.
I think I made him nervous and he really tightened up his belts. But as Thomas stated the pace was pretty slow. The Corvette-Mustang showdown was a big hit.---Thanks again--Don
Thanks for getting the tickets Tim. Sunday I went over to the grandstands to watch. Sat near the tower. I thought Don N had left, but when I was walking to my car 2 hours later, I heard a loud rumble, turned around and there was Don. Did not get his attention, he had already passed me up.
Does anyone think they will ever add ten years to the historic class so that it would open it up for more, and different, cars out there. Seems like there are fewer cars every year. I never saw the red GT 40 run.
As I was leaving, I spoke to one of the open wheeled cars, do not know which class. I asked him how come the winner was soooo fast. ( the guy almost lapped the whole field.) He asked if I wanted the truth or a lie. Truth. He said he cheats like crazy, lots of money too. It's always fun to be able to talk to the racers in the pits. Gregg
