Coffee & Cars

Anyone going to the Coffee & Cars event on Saturday (March 3rd) in Houston?

Houston Coffee & Cars | Where All Automotive Enthusiasts Meet To Share The Same Passion

One of the pics on the site shows a polished aluminum Kirkham roadster. I've been a couple of times but have never seen this beast.....

There are quite a few members from the Houston Cobra Club who are going. Are you signed up with the HCC Yahoo Group?

Houstoncobraclub : Houston Cobra Club

We meet every second Saturday for lunch.

I would like to make it, but I don't think I will be able to.

Doubtful for me, TJ.......that's 60+ miles from down here!

Haven't gotten my "distance confidence meter" up that far yet, although I have had pretty good luck so far! It's definitely about time for me to take the plunge!

A bunch of folks from the HoustonCobraClub Yahoo group are going though, as mentioned above.....you'll be in good company!

You definitely should sign up for the Yahoo Forum.....the group is very active, although I haven't met a lot of them yet. I've been following it for several years.....just need to hook up with them "more formally" soon.

The Houston Cobra Club is a great group. I started attending the meetings in 2002, but unfortunately, I haven't been very active the last 2-3 years. I have 3 kiddos now, so it makes it difficult to attend.

You also need to check out the Niftee50ees meet on Saturdays (March-November) at Champion Forrest/Spring Cypress in Spring. I believe it starts back up soon.

There is also vintage drag racing and a crackle fest at the drag strip in Sealy tomorrow. It starts at 8am, and after the vintage drag racing, then it will be open for everyone else to run.
