When I lived in CO and built my car, I had it inspected by the gentlemen at the "health department" off of 6th ave. in Denver. They never once questioned the fuel lines or connectors. They were pretty well versed in the "air injection system" with smog pump and catalytic converters (this was 2001) and thus had me connect them to pass the smog/Air Care CO situation.
But if you are titling now as a 'replica', there shouldn't be any issues with 'smog' equip.
