We have another cobra cruise scheduled for this weekend, starting from West Little Rock to Petit Jean Mt. and back.
Plans are to meet up in front of Larry's pizza on Hwy10 at about 8:30am and be back just after noon.
Route planned is. http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...,0.891953&z=11
I wish I could make this one, but I am going to try and paint this weekend. How often are you planning cruises?
It's good to see a group coming together here in AR. I had to travel out of state to see any completed cars when I first started looking at the FF kits.

Mike, paint in the afternoon man!
A good cruise in the morning will do wonders for your frame of mind and getting it ready to to manual labor!
I'm up to a cruise about everyday if I could get others to go with me! I went out for about 2 hours last night to get ice cream that was about 2 miles away. (I kinda went off track if you know what I mean.)
Looks like it was a nice cruise, the weather in the morning was certainly perfect for it.
I have the body off to do my paint, so I wouldn't have been able to make it anyway. I tried to set up a paint booth in the driveway Saturday, but it was too windy. I gave up about Noon and when the wind died down about 5:00, I finished it out and got the body in. I then got up Sunday morning and sprayed. About the time the body was ready to come out (12:30), the wind had really picked back up and was tossing the booth around. I pulled the body out and after assessing things, decided not to paint the hood, trunk, and doors. I'm glad I did as the wind got my booth while eating lunch. They will just have to wait until next weekend.
It's not a great paint job, about a 10 footer. But it's not bad for my first paint job and I'm very please with my body work. It'll drive. Hopefully I'll be on the road in the next couple of weeks.
I know what you mean about driving out of your way. I used to work 5 minutes from the house and I'd take the "long way" home every chance I got.

Ohh!
I thought you were talking about painting the house, not your car!
Hey, if you used a paint that can be polished out, you may be able to make it a 1 incher instead of a 10 footer. Just put plenty of coats on (clear if your going base/clear ) to enable you to polish it out.
