I talked my way out of a 81 mph radar ticket this past weekend. Going wine tasting with my gf, NOT in my Cobra but in her Audi convertable about three hours north of LA called Cambria. The cop was a nice guy, every now and then glanced at my gf's rack and asked me why I was speeding. I told him the truth, I had to be somewhere by a certain time to meet a driver we hired because we were going wine tasting and didn't want to get hammered and drive AND, we had to dress up as our favorite German as it was our German's friend's birthday and he planned the entire even and wanted us to go around tasting in costume. And, as only a real German can be, you MUST be on time! Long story short, the cop is cracking up and the pic below is why! The cop said slow down, have a nice day and shook my hand! I'm the one in black and dressed up as the birthday boy who is the one in the short, shorts. Funny enough, he looks at me when it comes time to guess who each of us came dressed up as and he says to me" no self respecting German would ever dress like that"! I almost spewed I laughed so hard and then I told him I had dressed up as him! So, I guess this is how I see him. He was shocked for some reason...
