Hmm thats interesting Gary.
So based on what I know of your build, a GTM with an LS3 and mendiola built reasonably to the book but with windows and the other stuff would weigh roughly 2575lbs wet.
Of course a big factor is how much fuel you have on board and what tanks you are using. at 6 lbs per gallon its reasonable to have 100 lbs of fuel load.
Besides the obvious stereo / AC options adding weight, sound dampening and body mods being the other culprets for a few lbs.
The only things I can think of to easily reduce weight are lexan rear window two piece rotors, with light wheel and tire combo and a racing battery.
Do you know how much the current yellow factory five GTM weighs?
Sounds to me like 2500-2700 depending on mods and amount of gas is normal range for a finished street going GTM.
Sheesh, somehow I thought the normal range was 2300-2400. If i am going to get my car under 2500 lbs I need to get it on weight watchers right now
