For me an important consideration would be the atmosphere it's in. Cold/hot/humid garage, e.g. pretty uncontrolled atmosphere? Or something more controlled? If it's reasonably controlled, mainly as in not too much humidity, you don't have a lot to worry about. The assembly lube and such is going to be fine. Shoot a little oil in the spark plug holes, turn it over a few times with a wrench on the crankshaft occasionally, and prime before actually starting. It will be fine. If high humidity or more extreme conditions, then maybe some more active steps are necessary.
