VA DMV question

I am considering a move from CA to VA. Have a MK 3.1 that has been on the road for 3 years. Looking at the VA DMV site it looks like they do not make you do a physical inspection of the car, but I also did not see a spot where there was a emission exemption for "special construction" vehicles. My questions are...

Do they do a physical inspection?
Do they make you do a smog test?
Anything else I need to be aware of?
I like to run track days so where are you guys running?

I plan to stop by a DMV next week while I am there as well.

I have no windshield wipers since it only rains here about 15 days/yr and you know when it will happen so you plan accordingly, and I have no smog requirement, here so have no smog equip on the car. It is a 4.6L DOHC with FI so it runs very clean, but no converters, etc.

No sense moving it if I can't register it...

I bought a already built FFR in Florida, so I'll help as I can.

the DMV required a physical inspection of my car. as you find out, the only thing consistent about our DMV is lack of consistency.

I dont live in an area that requires emissions inspections, so I wasnt bothered with that.

how does your title currently read?

if it says 1965 ford, 1965 cobra, etc. you will be far better off.
